A rare photo of the 1940 Tour de France

The Caldbeck Hilly 34 was an early season club event in 1961. The event started and finished at Cummersdale road end. Mike Westmorland, age 16.

August 1962. BCW Open Grasstrack: 2 mile scratch, Mike Westmorland away, John Graham on the front of the bunch. Eventually MW and JG lapped the bunch and JG beat MW in the sprint.
